INVESTING IN DIGITAL PRINT
We have just installed the latest technology in digital print presses, for those who want litho print quality with the usual digital print flexibility this new machine achieves it all. In today’s fast moving markets, digital print has grown rapidly due to the fast turnarounds and low volumes very often required. We have found all our clients use digital print at some stage, many on a very regular basis.

A GREAT EXAMPLE
Don’t think of digital print just for A5 and A4 Leaflets, one of our clients commissioned us to design a full colour 22 page presentation brochure which we hold on file, all they do is email us the name and logo of the company they are presenting to, we drop this into the original artwork and print off anything from 2 to 10 copies, as they say, this is great for presentations and always impresses the recipient which in turn has increased his new business success rate.

VALENCE HOUSE MUSEUM & VISITOR CENTRE

Working together with heritage graphic design specialists Hotrod, we produced various wrap mounted conservation grade MDF panels, caption vinyl’s, interactive graphics and window manifestations, showcasing the lives of past local residents and trades around the Dagenham area. All items were successfully installed into the renovated building over two phases by our installation team.

P.M. IN THE PARK

On Monday the 1st November Prime Minister David Cameron visited Croxley Green Business Park for an informal meeting with 9 small business owners to discuss how the banks are treating them. If you look carefully you can see our very own David Hunt (light brown jacket) in on the action.

D&AD PRESIDENTS LECTURE: PECHA KUCHA

Last night the Design studio plus Stevie Brewu of ECITB were lucky enough to get tickets for D&AD’s president lecture.

Pecha Kucha, meaning ‘chit-chat’ in Japanese, is a fast and furious way of presenting, as each speaker is limited to up to 20 powerpoint slides, and each slide is only displayed for 20 seconds before the next one replaces it.

Speakers include members of design studio Bibliotheque, branding experts SomeOne, cultural curators It’s Nice That, illustrator and animator Mr Bingo, digital maestro Simon Waterfall,  Design icon Neville Brody, Interaction doyen Andy Cameron, advertising hero Graham Fink, creative entrepreneur Kate Moross and members of the multidisciplinary Tomato Design Collective.

A good night was had by all and we are looking forward to the next lectures.
